Moving to the Cotswolds needn’t mean missing out on all the amazing things London has to offer.
We spent a few days with the children in London last week visiting the V & A, seeing Dear Evan Hansen, revisiting the new Joe Allan’s- which was every bit as good as it used to be. We shopped on the Portobello Road and The King’s Road and watched the world go by in Covent Garden and Pont Street, and the girls even found time to have their nails done at the wonderful Anya Hindmarch Colour Therapy shop.
We usually drive which takes about an hour and a half to West London but the train from Banbury is direct to Marylebone and under an hour.
Some people make the journey every day, some just high days and holidays. Having a home in both places really does give you the best of both worlds.
